I am presently a student at Long Island University, CW Post Campus.
I am in my seventh semester undergraduate there (Finally, my last year!), majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Mathematics and Criminal Justice.
As this implies though, I am NOT very good in my spoken (or typed) English (even though it is my first language) so please excuse the typos.
If you are a Comp-Sci student... give me a break, I taught myself HTML a good eight years ago (maybe longer) so there may be some "mistakes" there too.
After undergrad, I hope to get into the Law Program at Washington & Lee University and focus in Intellectual Properties.
And no... I have no desire to teach, so do not ask.
Anyway, now you want to know what I know... no?
I took in high school AP Chemistry (which is equivalent to Post's CHM 3/4, Principles pf Chemistry 1/2) in 11th grade and got a perfect score on my exam.
Despite me taking it now over 4 years ago, I have been tutoring many people in Post's version of General Chem., so I am still quite capible.
My senior year, I took AP Physics B (equivalent to PHY 11/12, College Physics 1/2) and Calculus AB (equivalent to MTH 7/8, Calculus 1/2), but due to a paperwork error, I couldn't take the Calculus exam, and only got a 3 on the Physics, which isn't good enough for credit at C.W. Post, but I would have gotten full credit if I went to NYIT next door; go figure.
Enough about high school now I think, So, here is the college stuff:
In the first semester at Post, I took Organic Chemistry 1 (CHM 21) and Calculus 1 (MTH 7), as well as a bunch of stuff no-one else cares about.
In my second semester at Post, I took Organic Chemistry 2 (CHM 22), Quantitative Analysis (CHM 37), and Calculus 2 (MTH 8), along with more worthless electives.
In the third semester at Post, I took Spectroscopic Identification of Organic Compounds (CHM 24) along with Calculus 3 (MTH 9) and University Physics 1 (PHY 3)... with STILL more worthless electives.
In my fourth semester at Post, I took Descriptive Inorganic Chemistry (CMH 5), Differential Equations (MTH 21), Probability (MTH 51), University Physics 2 (PHY4)... and conceivably enough... MORE worthless electives.
My fifth semester consisted of Physical Chemistry 1 (CHM 55), Intro to Sets, Logic, and Mathematic Structures (MTH 2), and Introduction to Criminal Justice (CRJ 11)... and if you can believe it, still more electives.
My sixth semester was filled with such fun courses as Physical Chemistry 2 (CHM 56), Intro to Biochemistry (CHM 71), Criminal Law (CRJ 41), and Criminal Procedure (CRJ 76)... and amazingly enough, only 1 elective; pity that professor was worse than all others put together; AVOID Dr. Cates.
Presently, I am taking Analytical Instrumentation (CHM 38), Quantum Chemistry (CHM 57), Chemistry Honors Tutorial (CHM 385), Forensic Psychology and the Criminal Justice System (CRJ 36), and Correctional Philosophy (CRJ 68)... and luckily, only one more worthless elective.
By the way, you do not get a prize if you have discovered I DO NOT like the worthless electives I need to take.
On a side note, I can also teach people how to do a basic webpage.
Its a shame I just un-uploaded my prime example; oh well.
I can also teach you how to do most of the basics (and a few of the advanced things) with LaTeX type-set.
A big shout-out to Dr. Ramer, Dr. Rockett, and Dr. Zeinalian of the C.W. Post Chemistry, Mathematics, and Mathematics departments respectively: all three have helped greatly on gaining me the understanding I have now with said type-set language.
